Additional Notes for May 31st 2015
Area fishing continue to be good for the lakes. Rainbow Lake is stocked and limits of Rainbows are available. Hidden Lake continues to put out some nice Lake Trout. Folks trolling F7 Flatfish or throwing spinners are hooking up. Limits have been consistent. Kelly Lake and Peterson Lake are both doing well for Rainbows. Eggs or worms soaked on the bottom are working as well as Little Cleo spoons and Vibrax spinners. For those trolling, a Super Duper or a Triplefish in Silver or Silver/Copper are productive. The Kenai River opens at midnight on the 11th of June. Make sure you have your reservations ready and your rods serviced for the season. The Sockeye are beginning to stack up throughout the Russian River for the opener.
