Additional Notes for Fishing Report September 9th 2016
Silvers are now stacking up nicely in all the back eddies on the Kenai River. The last 3 days have been 5 stars for those targeting Silver and trout through out the system. As we transition between 1st and 2nd run spawnings, be sure to mix in a few washed out beads into your offering when your favorite "fresh" egg color fails to produce. Beads in 6mm and 8mm have been doing well. Vibrax spinners and Little Cleo spoons for silvers, as well as stripping articulated leeches in white, pink and purple. Rainbow Lake is also fishing well for those who want to fish the area lakes. Dry flies are typically on fire there in the Fall.
